This project investigates the fairness of public green space distribution, with a focus on quality and accessibility for elderly residents in the Greater Sydney Region. It addresses a gap in knowledge regarding green space disparities among older adults, considering not just quantity but also the quality and accessibility of these spaces. The study proposes a new index, supported by GIS visualization, to represent spatially the green space accessibility for the over-60s demographic. This approach promotes an understanding of disparities and suggests potential interventions for improved green space access.
